Sidewalk Seinfeld
I went to high school in Manhattan, which certainly lent itself to many interesting experiences over my four years there! One afternoon, after school had let out, I was rounding the corner to begin my walk to the bus stop to go home. It was just a split second recognition, but his eye caught my eye. I walked right by Jerry Seinfeld as he was approaching the corner to cross the street!
Being the starstruck girl I am (erm, was…no, am), I remember desperately wanting to find a way to pass by again (which was kind of ridiculous, no one just turns around and walks back the way they came for no reason!). I quickly came up with a plan: I pretended to get on the phone with a friend, and proceeded to walk back, all the while telling my “friend” (as I was passing him by) that I had forgotten a book in my locker! He was standing on the corner with his back towards me anyways, looking at a newspaper dispenser. Maybe he was onto me! Probably thinking, “Hey, that kid in a school uniform just passed by me and she’s kinda suspiciously glancing in my direction…” I guess there’s one reason (of many, trust me
) I was named “Most Starstruck” in my yearbook!

This is hilarious! Awesome, I love the phone trick, lol… We just can’t change direction without looking at the watch or take out the phone or “do something” anyway, right? Gotta pretend there’s some serious reason, hehe…
Great stalking, “Starstruck”!
